NAURU
There are some interesting things to tell you all. Did you know Nauru was once the richest country in the world in 1980? at that time Nauru controlled phosphate from seabird droppings. Nauru is also the third smallest country in the world after Monaco and the Vatican. That country has no rivers. The roads in Nauru are only about 29 km and rail ways are around 3,5 km.
Nauru is also known as the fattest country because about 71% of Nauruans are obese. Nauru was once a beautiful island in 1798. The island surrounded by beautiful coral reefs, it make a good place for snorkeling and diving.
The majority Naurus people use English because Nauru is a country that is close from England, Australia, & New Zealand. they use English as the language of trade and domestic government. Nauru does not have an armed force. but only has a large police force that is responsible for security in the country.
Actualy Nauru have a favorite sport, namely weightlifting. this country had won 9 bronze medals, 10 silver medals, and 10 gold medals in the commonwealth games, unfortunately Nauru has never won an Olympic medal despite participating in the Summer Olympics since 1996.
Nauru is also a country that does not levy personal taxes. because the unemployment rate reaches 90%. and it is not possible to collect personal taxes. Nauru has no topsoil due to continuous phosphate mining that destroyed 90% of the island. Itu only 10% of the land survived and fertilise land located on the coast overgrown with coconut trees.
